I was in Birmingham recently for work, so of course I had to hit up the Forever 21 in Bullring. Being an American, I miss being able to get cheap clothes from Forever 21 in pretty much every mall. It’s not quite as cheap here as it is in the US, but it’s still reasonable and slightly better quality than Primark, especially the Love21 collection. These velveteen trousers are seriously soft. It’s basically like wearing pajamas that count as real clothes. They’re a bit heavy, but they’re good for that in-between weather we have right now where it’s not quite warm yet. The top was kind of an impulse buy because it just went so well with the trousers.
Now that it’s Spring, all I can think about it is how much I want Summer to be here so I can go to the beach and swim and get a tan (read: a sunburn). The best part of the summer, beauty-wise, is definitely beachy waves. Luckily you can recreate that look anytime of year with a sea salt hair spray. They have somewhat expensive ones you can buy, but why bother when you can make it yourself for way less? This one only uses three ingredients, one of which is water, so you know exactly what you’re putting in your hair.
I am definitely not the healthiest person in the world, but I do try to make healthy choices when I can. I love food. Mostly food that is bad for you. So I try to make my meals healthier in small ways that don’t take too much effort because I’m lazy. By making these changes as well as exercising regularly, I’ve lost quite a bit of weight in the last year and a half. I am by no means a health expert, but these simple tips should help you see results and live a healthier lifestyle.
